Nickel alloy reducers are critical transition fittings connecting pipes of different diameters in piping systems, essential for controlling flow velocity and reducing pressure loss. The nickel alloy reducers supplied by Hefei Tailan Metal Co., Ltd. are manufactured from high-quality nickel-based alloy seamless pipes or plates through multiple precision processes including hot extrusion/cold forming/stamping, solution heat treatment, sizing, and pickling/polishing. Featuring uniform diameter transition, reasonable wall thickness distribution, smooth internal and external surfaces, and dense structure, they are specifically designed for demanding piping systems requiring exceptional corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, and sealing performance.

Type Description:

  1. Concentric Reducer: Both ends centerlines on same axis, used for vertical pipelines or horizontal pipelines without liquid level requirements
  2. Eccentric Reducer: One end centerline offset from the other, maintaining pipe bottom or top alignment, used for horizontal pipelines to prevent liquid accumulation

Dimensional and Appearance Inspection

  1. Diameter: Measuring large and small end diameters using calipers, tape measures
  2. Wall Thickness: Multi-point measurement using ultrasonic thickness gauges (large end, small end, transition section)
  3. Length: Measuring overall length using tape measures
  4. Eccentricity: For eccentric reducers, measuring eccentric direction and offset distance
  5. End Bevel: Inspection of bevel angle, root face dimensions
  6. Surface: Visual inspection ensuring no cracks, folds, laps, or other defects

Non-Destructive Testing

  1. Penetrant Testing (PT): 100% inspection of reducer internal and external surfaces
  2. Radiographic Testing (RT): Inspection of weld seams for welded reducers
  3. Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement: Verifying minimum wall thickness

Marking and Traceability

Each reducer has a unique identification, traceable to raw material batch and production records.

Third-Party Inspection Support

We welcome clients to designate international Third-Party inspection agencies for pre-shipment inspection, with shipment only after passing inspection.
