Nickel Alloys: Material Solutions for Extreme Service Conditions

In demanding application fields such as petrochemicals, marine engineering, energy and environmental protection, ordinary steel often fails to meet the requirements. At this time, nickel alloys, with their outstanding corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength and excellent processing performance, become the preferred material for engineering designers. Hefei Tailan Metal Materials Co., Ltd., which has been engaged in the field of metal materials for many years, has now established a complete supply system of nickel alloy products, providing global customers with comprehensive nickel alloy solutions ranging from pipes, plates to round steel and pipe fittings.

What are Nickel Alloys?

Nickel alloys are special metal materials with nickel as the base element (typically nickel content exceeding 30%), alloyed with elements such as chromium, molybdenum, copper, and iron. Depending on the alloy composition and application scenarios, nickel alloys can be categorized into several series:

Pure nickel series (such as Nickel 200/201): Excellent resistance to alkaline corrosive media, widely used in caustic soda evaporation equipment

Monel Series (Monel 400) : Nickel-copper alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and seawater

Inconel Series (Inconel 600/601/625) : Nickel-chromium alloys combining high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance

Hastelloy Series (Hastelloy C-276/C-22) : Nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloys with excellent tolerance to both strong oxidizing and reducing media

Incoloy Series (Incoloy 800/825) : Nickel-iron-chromium alloys commonly used in high-temperature heat exchangers and sulfuric acid environments
